Sailing on the big blue this summer after a sailing course, isn't that more reasonable...?
Marseille is a preferred destination from the month of June, thanks to the multiple possibilities offered by sailing clubs. This is even possible for a weekend!
For sailing “half-Pros”
Many weekends are dedicated to training courses in catamaran or sailing navigation,
…and for those lucky enough to have an extended weekend, offshore cruising courses (for sailing on the high seas) depart from Marseille and are run by SailEazy throughout the spring. The refresher course is intensive: seamanship and mooring maneuvers, chart reading, emergency protocols…
And for the “Pros”
You can call upon the " Guides du Grand Large " (Grand Large Guides) who offer year-round excursions to destinations departing from Marseille . The program includes: anchoring, dead reckoning, electronic tools, anticipating typical situations…
It is a coaching of minimum 6 days at sea, since the destinations reach Port-Cros, Porquerolles or Corsica.
And the others "
There is no one left behind since there are numerous sailing schools for beginners, the main ones being the ASPTT and the ATSCAF. They offer from the Optimist to the Paddle to the habitable sailboat.
As for the ordinary spectator, he will be able to support, on the weekend of June 19 , the participants in the " Sans Quille 2021 " organized by the ATSPTT.
