Arriving by public transport (Sustainable option)

  • From Saint-Charles train station: Take Metro M1 (blue line) towards La Rose, stop Old PortWe are just a 2-minute walk from the metro exit.

  • From Marseille-Provence Airport (AMP): Take the shuttle bus (L91) to Gare Saint-Charles, then take metro M1. Total journey time approximately 45 minutes.

  • By Ferry-Boat: Cross the port in iconic style! The famous Ferry-Boat drops you off just a few meters from the hotel.

Arriving by car and parking

The Old Port is a semi-pedestrian zone. For your convenience, we have partnered with a secure parking garage. Q-Park Old Port City Hall.

I read about this hotel in old books, and despite the comments about stairs, air conditioning and hot water, I had to try it. The young people at the front desk were helpful and eager to please. The temperature was always fine (I traveled with a fan), there was ample hot water, and the view was unbelievable. Watching all the people go by at all hours, zipping by on scooters, on top of buses, was a delight. I wish I could have stayed longer! The Radisson, by contrast, was a dungeon. Don't be put off by the steps up to the hotel, and the rather basic reception -- the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are pleasant and helpful, and the views from the rooms are excellent! Breakfast in the bar area was decent, with a nice basket of bread and pastries. Parking is possible in the nearby multi-storey Q-Park Vieux Port / Hôtel de Ville for 15 euro for 24 hours. Get your ticket from reception in advance, or buzz the parking attendant and tell them you're a guest of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again if in Marseille. The + the view of the port and Notre Dame de la Garde from a comfortable room, access to all walking tours, Mucem, Calanques cruise, bus and metro. The - plastic cups, glass would be more hygienic, the lack of a wardrobe and the dilapidated state of the staircase carpet. The bar can be nice if you like very loud music! People working in the hotel are very kind and nice, they are smile all the day. The food in the bar is very delicious, my wife likes the Aioli fish cooking very much. It was a very happy stay, I will go back again. CanberraJenny 03/09/2023 Fabulous views and location The hotel is in a fabulous location with views of the Basilica over the Vieux port. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants. It is easy to walk to Mucem or public transport or Le Panier. The room was small but very comfortable. Breakfast was good with great coffee and served with a view. The hotel is being renovated so is confusing on first arrival. Reception is up a floor with no lift. Magnificent view of the old port (the hotel lives up to its name), superb renovated room, excellent breakfast on the restaurant terrace. Welcoming staff.
