At the foot of your hotel, hop on bus 83, it takes you directly to Parc Borély. It's one of the perfect places to enjoy your Christmas vacation: an exhibition, a castle and a little trip to the Park.
For your Christmas holidays, red carpet for white!
The Borély castle, located in the heart of the Park, is hosting the White Spirit exhibition until January 07th.
Iridescent, glittery, silky, textured, white is “THE” color par excellence.
A selection of around twenty Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear silhouettes allows us to discover the stylistic and technical characteristics specific to each fashion house and each designer around a single chromatic theme: white.
♥ The opportunity to measure how this color is a true link between the different eras which have marked the history of contemporary fashion.
A visit to an exceptional bastide
Built in the 18th century on the rural estate of Bonneveine, at the request of Louis Borély, a wealthy merchant from a family established in Provence for five centuries, the Borély castle is an architectural emblem of Marseille.
Today, it belongs to the City of Marseille, which is converting it into a Museum of Decorative Arts, Earthenware and Fashion.
The building constitutes a precious testimony to 18th century architecture in Provence.
You can visit it as it regularly hosts temporary and permanent exhibitions.
♥ The rooms are completely renovated, with richly decorated earthenware pieces, sculptures and tapestries.

A little trip to the Park
Borély Park, which covers 18 hectares – including 1,2 hectares for the Botanical Garden, is a superb place to visit for a few euros.
It is the busiest of Marseille's green spaces.
It has a French-style garden and a 19th-century landscaped park.
The walkways are a haven for families strolling by bike or with strollers, joggers and walkers who enjoy wandering among the rose garden beds or discovering the rare species of the Botanical Garden.
The lake, its pier, its refreshment bar and its restaurant complete the site's multiple attractions.
♥ Borély Park is also a paradise for children because it has two play areas and numerous spaces. Right next door are the Borély racecourse and the Prado beaches.
