Several pétanque courts or bowling alleys combine play and the beauty of the landscape.

- A little further, the bowling green at the level of the Major's Cathedral
- The bowling green on the small esplanade of the Vieille Chapelle which overlooks the Pointe Rouge beach.
With or without lighting, you are spoiled for choice. There are at least 70 groups of regular practitioners and three times more land invested in the Marseille city.
Visit the Boule Museum in Marseille
The Musée de la Boule could only be located in Marseille!
It is also called the House of Boules and it is the only place in the South that celebrates boules, pétanque and jeu provençal.
It is located a few streets away from the Belle Vue hotel in the Panier district.
On 65m2, you will discover the evolution of the ball, which was initially studded, the different sporting practices and manufacturing stages, and you will also be able to attend demonstrations.
The museum, open since 2015, has an indoor bowling alley and welcomes the public from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 19pm.
The Marseille World Cup: July 2 to 7
Since 1962, the Marseille city has hosted the Mondial La Marseillaise à Pétanque.
The competition takes place in the walkways of Borély Park.
This year, the 56th edition of the Mondial la Marseillaise à pétanque will take place from July 2nd to 7th, 2017.
