This is the second season of installing mosaics on the Corniche Kennedy bench, the longest bench in the world! It runs for almost 3km and accompanies you from the Old Port to the beaches. Since last year, it has gradually been adorned with mosaic friezes.
A little touch of Barcelona
Of course, this bench along the coast is functional, but thanks to these mosaics, life is even more beautiful!
Think of Barcelona and architect Gaudí's famous Park Güell.
It also has a wavy bench decorated with multicolored ceramics which gives it a lot of cheerfulness.

In Marseille, the initiative is all the nicer because it is led by Paola Cervoni who works with school groups or groups of retirees who discover ceramic art under his leadership.
Once the frieze is completed, it is placed on the bench to which it is cemented.
Three actions of this type are planned during 2019.
A crowdfunding campaign exists to support the project.

Let's mosaic on the Corniche
If you want to discover this work in progress, nothing could be simpler. On foot from the hotel for walking enthusiasts. This will give you the opportunity to visit legendary neighborhoods like Les Catalans, Malmousque and Roucas Plage.
The frieze starts just before the Prado beaches at the level of Returnee Memorial.
You can't miss it, it's a huge propeller made by Caesar.
For those who prefer to take the bus, meet at the foot of your hotel: get on the 83. It crisscrosses the entire Corniche.
