From July 4, 2014 come and take part in a trip around the world in 9 days departing from Marseille thanks to the international folk festival of Chateau Gombert.
A heritage of the Marseille terroir:
It all began in 1927 with Jean-Baptiste Julien Pignole, dedicated to preserving and, above all, passing on Provençal traditions. He created the Roudelet Felibren, a Provençal cultural center, renowned among its presidents and volunteers passionate about folklore . There, they transmit traditional dances, songs, music, and dialect. Every year, a festival is organized to introduce the general public to this Marseilles heritage, as well as that of other countries, all in a friendly and family atmosphere. An atmosphere well-known at the Hotel Bellevue and the La Caravelle bar-restaurant.
A bar-restaurant that spans the ages:
Housed on the first floor of the Hotel Bellevue , the Caravelle bar-restaurant is a Marseille institution that has retained its period charm. One can easily imagine the sailors of the Old Port relaxing here before setting sail for distant lands.
