Algeria and Berlin, at the heart of 2 exhibitions in Marseille

You are staying at the Belle Vue hotel and you want to enjoy a relaxing afternoon around an exhibition. Follow the guide, here are two unmissable spring highlights in Marseille!

Made in Algeria at MUCEM

To all honor, let's start with the MuCEM, a stone's throw from the Belle Vue hotel. This is the opportunity, in addition to the walk on the Old Port and the crossing of the historic district of Panier, to discover until May 2, 2016 an exhibition called  Made in Algeria.

It brings together maps, drawings, paintings, photographs, films and historical documents and artists' works who surveyed and immortalized the country.

In total, it is a territory in the form of a 200 piece puzzle which allows us to understand the construction of the territory of Algeria.

MUCEM – Made in Algeria: currently and until May 2.

Berlin with photos from the Ostkreuz agency

The Berlin photography agency Ostkreuz, it's a bit the equivalent of Magnum in France.

Founded by 7 photographers in the 1990s, it brings together an influential collective of men and women, author-photographers.

So, when an agency of this scale presents a retrospective for its 25th anniversary at Friche Belle de Mai, it’s definitely worth writing down in your tablets and diaries!

In 250 photos, a look back at Berlin, its urbanization, its architecture, its reunification, its social changes. And since the Fall of the Wall, the face of Germany has changed a lot
