When you arrive at the small port of Frioul, turn to your right to travel to the island of Ratonneau.
It's the perfect place for a family hike.

You will discover the Fort de Ratonneau built in 1886 and the Caroline Hospital. This last site served as a landing place and quarantine zone for sailors who landed in Marseille in the XNUMXth century. This was to protect the population of Marseille against the plague and yellow fever.

Join the port of Frioul, follow the dike and reach the other island, that of Pomègues with its mineral decor.

It is the largest island in theFrioul archipelago the coves welcome your first swims and the vegetation is magnificent in spring.

The island of Pomègues is home to an aquaculture farm that raises sea bream.
