Eco-friendly, the Hotel Belle Vue is a transient lover… who adores the little sparrows of the Old Port!
As part of MP2018, what love! the hotel had the original idea of installing on its facade a giant sculpture intended to house nesting boxes for its little ones.
Real love nests! ♥
A project that is close to the heart of the Belle Vue hotel team
Once upon a time...
A lovely love story between the Bellevue hotel, the Caravelle bar-restaurant and the sparrows of the Old Port.
The facade of your Hotel and bar restaurant la Caravelle has been for several years a light sign which announces to travelers and tourists that they arrived safely.
Clever, the Sparrows from the Old Port used to nest there.
Some daring people have even taken up residence within the Caravelle to the delight of customers of the Marseille bar-restaurant.

From today, and as part of the MP 2018 event: what love!, our favorite and emblematic little birds will have new ultra-trendy nest boxes 🙂
They will be integrated at the heart of a sculpture:
- Heart-shaped,
- 2 meters high
- Affixed to the facade.

This is ingeniously made up of several wooden chairs.
These are intended to protect the nest boxes and will therefore play the role of the branches of a tree.
A giant work of design by Mickaël Koska
Mickaël Koska discovered and developed his passion for design and art as an autodidact.
His work is based above all on the idea of recycling, recovery and assembly of pieces that he “collects” randomly from his finds.
This makes each of his creations totally unique.
After training in traditional and contemporary cabinetmaking at the Boulle school in Paris, Mickaël Koska asserts itself and offers works that combine the nobility of wood with the dynamism of modern materials.
The designer artist draws his inspiration from everyday images and other arts.
They inspire him to give birth to atypical, aesthetic and contemporary creations.
